Severnside Community Rail Partnership is looking for an artist based in the Taunton area to create an illustrative digital map of Taunton and the surrounding areas. The map will be displayed in a currently blank space at one of the station entrance / exit areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to have your talent showcased in a busy public space. Expressions of interest are welcomed from local artists regardless of their previous experience.
Theme:
Destination/Tourism/Days Out to and from Taunton Station using public transport links. The map will be displayed in Taunton Station.
Specifications:
Artist must live or work in postcode district TA1, TA2, TA3 or TA4.
File resolution must be good enough to be printed large scale (4.5m W x 2.5m H).
Artwork created and ready to print by 11th March 2024 latest.
Permissions:
Severnside Community Rail Partnership and Great Western Railway will require permission to reproduce the image on printed and digital materials such as leaflets, brochures and websites, and to promote and share on social media channels.

The map will be reproduced to fill the space measuring 4.4 x 2.5 m
