Peace Of Art – Stapleton Road Station
Peace of Art are a female community street art group based in Easton. This mandala inspired mural was part of a trio of new art pieces to enhance the walkways for the public.
Bill Guilding – Stapleton Road Station
The oldest mural on a Severnside Station, Bill first painted the work in 1999. Titled ‘A portrait of the community’, it portrays the history and diversity of the Easton area of Bristol.
Silent Hobo, Rob & Sophie Wheeler of Graft, Anna Higgie, Peace of Art, Dave Bain and Zoe Power – Fox Park Viaduct
Our biggest project to date, collaborating with 10 artists and many local residents and involving major support from Network Rail and Bristol City Council.
Silent Hobo – Montpelier Station
Silent Hobo has brought his iconic style to the station over the last few years highlighting the local wildlife in a playful way.
Zoë Power and Dave Bain – Redland Station
The mural situated beneath Lovers’ Walk bridge has been created in collaboration with students from Cotham Gardens Primary School.
Sophie and Rob Wheeler, Graft – Sea Mills Station
Funded by Bristol City Council’s Originators Fund, Graft created a new pattern inspired by the flora and fauna of Sea Mills.
Sophie and Rob Wheeler, Graft – Avonmouth Station
The piece celebrates the flora and birdlife of the Severn Estuary, and is inspired by Arts and Crafts-era pattern design, from the period when Avonmouth Village was built.
Scott Walker – Bedminster Station
Welcoming passengers to Bedminster, this impressive painting by Scott depicts the Great Western Caerphilly Castle 4073.
Bill Guilding – Bedminster Station
Commissioned in 2010, the paintings of the local areas of Windmill Hill and Victoria Park were chosen by Bedminster residents to sit at the entrance to the station.
Damien Jefferies – Yatton Station
A celebration of the station heritage and local wildlife around the Strawberry Line cycle path covering a shipping container which houses adapted bikes for the Strawberry Line Cycle Hire project.
Emma Douglas – Freshford
One of a series memorialising Emma’s son, Cato, with each board representing a year of his life and each square reflecting the day’s activities.

Various artists, Poster cases – Lawrence Hill Station
The poster cases at Lawrence Hill Station are regularly updated to showcase artworks ranging from local photography students, Crimestoppers School safety posters, Mental Health campaigns and more.
Mary Reynolds, Entrance Gates – Stapleton Road Station
Mary was commissioned to fabricate new gates for Stapleton Road Station as part of an all female art scheme around the station.
Anna Higgie, Shipping Container – Stapleton Road Station
As part of the all female art scheme at Stapleton Road, Anna created an eye catching illustration to cover up an old rundown shipping container.
Katie Hanning & George Dawes, Photography – Patchway Station
Artist Katie Hanning created a series of photographs in collaboration with George Dawes for Patchway Station. Working with local community groups, the pictures depict two phrases in British Sign Language (BSL).
Various Artists, City to Seaside Photography – Avonmouth Station
School’s Photography project, exploring the Severn Beach Line communities and learning new camera skills with 10-19 year olds, on permanent display at Avonmouth Station.
Various Artists – Nailsea & Backwell Station
Four posters on the theme of ‘Landscape’ using illustration, photography and painting. Created by artists Greg Derrick, Joseph Bourgourd, students from Backwell School and Nailsea School.
Priormade – Keynsham Station
Metal bugs and flowers created and fabricated by Beck Prior of Priormade, painted with the help of local youth club members.
Andy Jacobs – Weston-Super-Mare Station
A horticultural installation inspired by lighthouses wihch incorporates herb planters, solar panels and art work.
Valentina Paz Huxley – Filton Abbey Wood
‘Pioneers of the Railways’ gallery celebrate individuals from under-represented backgrounds who have strived for progress and made a difference on the railways.
Hidden Station – Bridgwater
Beautiful illustrations celebrating the station community come to life using Augmented Reality filters via a smart device. Created by Jayde Perkin, David McMillan and Zubr Curio in partnership with Seed Sedgemoor.

Track Record, Eyebrow & The Spoke
Track Record is a collaboration between musicians Eyebrow and poetry collective The Spoke, inspired by the Severn Beach railway line, which runs between inner-city Bristol and the wild expanses of the Severn Estuary. You can download it here: Track Record Soundtrack
Train of Thought
In partnership with South West Wales Connected Community Rail Partnership, poetry workshops took place in local community settings between Taunton and South West Wales. Poems have been collated to form the “Train of thought” Poetry Anthology, Inspired by Rail Routes from Taunton to South West Wales. A digital version can be read here TOT-poems-V3
